- FirstMove uses chess as a tool to teach critical thinking and advance math and reading in 2nd and 3rd grade students.
- In a 2009 survey, 88% of teachers believed their students critical thinking skills improved because of First Move.
America’s Foundation for Chess is a US-based 501(c)(3) promoting critical thinking skills through chess programs. AF4C will oversee the distribution of your donation to all participating schools.
